Amsterdam has one Airport:
SCHIPHOL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (AMS)
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is unsurpassed in terms of efficiency and convenience thanks to its carefully planned 'single terminal' concept, automatic luggage transfer and directions in English. The airport is located about 15 Km to the southwest of Amsterdam
Reach Amsterdam by:
Bus - There are regular public bus services from the airport to Amsterdam and other cities. The bus stop is located on Platform A7 in front of Arrivals Hall 2. Buses run from the terminal to Amsterdam center every 15 - 20 minutes
Rail - There are direct train services from the airport to Amsterdam Centraal station, the railway station is located in the terminal's central hall under the Schiphol Plaza. The trains run every 10-15 minutes from 6am and midnight and then hourly throughout the night; the journey takes around 20 minutes. Tickets for the train can be bought at the ticket offices in the terminal's central plaza, and from the yellow ticket vending machines.
Taxi - A taxi ride from Schiphol to the city centre takes only a short time, about 20 minutes - depending on traffic conditions. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals Hall.
